นำเสนอ  ณ กาดกองเก่า  ในเวียง  จ.แพร่  ๓ พฤศจิกายน ๒๕๕๕

The location of sites  (ที่ตั้งของแหล่งโบราณคดี)

ต้นผึ้ง บ้านกลาง สอง

• Located on the entrance of Huay Maisong River. (ตั้งอยู่ฝั่งน้ำแม่สอง)
• Size is approximately 47 acres. (ขนาดประมาณ ๔๗ เอเคอร์ - - ประมาณ    ไร่   ๑ เอเคอร์ =   ไร่)

เวียงเทพ ห้วยหม้าย สอง

• The distance between Wiang Taep and Ton Phung is about 6-8km.  (เวียงเทพห่างจากต้นผึ้งประมาณ ๖-๘ กิโลเมตร)
• The size is approximately 118 acres. (ขนาดประมาณ ๑๑๘ เอเคอร์ - - ประมาณ    ไร่)
• Separate from Ton Phung for the purpose of trading?  (แยกมาจากต้นผึ้งเพราะเหตุผลทางการค้าหรือไม่?)
• In 2006 (2549 B.E.), FAD found Chinese pottery produced in 17^th-18^th century.  (ในปี พ.ศ. ๒๕๔๙ กรมศิลปากร พบเครื่องถ้วยจีนที่ผลิตในศตวรรษที่ ๑๗-๑๘  ประมาณ ๓๐๐ ปีที่แล้ว)

• Located on the side of Mae Kham Mi River  (ตั้งอยู่ฝั่งน้ำแม่คำมี)
• In 1784 (2327 B.E), when the Prince of Yong City moved his troops to attack Bangkok, they stopped at Sob Yang and where is considered as the old city of Mae Kham Mi. (ใน พ.ศ. ๒๓๒๗ เจ้าฟ้าเมืองยองยกทัพมาเพื่อบุกกรุงเทพ  ได้ยั้งทัพที่สบยาง  ซึ่งอาจเป็นเมืองเก่าริมน้ำแม่คำมีนี้)

เวียงเหนือ บ้านเวียง ร้องกวาง

• Located on the entrance of Kam Pong River and Mae Thang River. (ตั้งอยู่ฝั่งน้ำแม่คำปอง  แม่ถาง)
• The size is approvximately 79-98 acres. (ขนาดประมาณ ๗๙-๙๘ เอเคอร์ - - ประมาณ    ไร่)

• Located beside Yom River. (ตั้งอยู่ฝั่งน้ำแม่ยม)
• Duvaravati pagodas? (เจดีย์สมัยทราวารดี?)
• Muang Long was well-known place for good quality of iron. (เมืองลองมีชื่อเสียงเรื่องเหล็ก)

§  The size is approximately 47-50 acres. (ขนาดประมาณ ๔๗-๕๐ เอเคอร์ - - ประมาณ    ไร่)

Common feature (ความเหมือนกันของแต่ละแหล่ง)

• Located beside the Yom River/branch of Yom River. (ตั้งอยู่ฝั่งน้ำแม่ยม / แม่น้ำสาขาแม่ยม)

                 →Control water and trading? ( เพื่อควบคุมน้ำ  และ การค้า  หรือไม่?)

§  The size range of site is approximately 47-98 acres. (ขนาดประมาณ ๔๗-๙๘ เอเคอร์ - - ประมาณ    ไร่)

§  The axis of site is Northeast to Southwest.  (แกนของเมืองวางแนวจาก  ทิศตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือไปหาทิศตะวันตกเฉียงใต้)

§  The existence of spiritual place nearby the site and old stories about the town. (ที่ยังคงเหลืออยู่คือพื้นที่ศักดิ์สิทธ์/ศาลเจ้าที่   และ เรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับเมืองที่ยังคงเล่าขานอยู่)

§  The modern town has been established beside the site. →Correspond to development of the site and modern town? (เมืองใหม่จะอยู่ข้างเมืองเก่า  อาจเป็นเพราะการพัฒนาเมืองหรือไม่?)

§  The bigger site is located on the Yom River, therefore, each town was linked by the river system which Muang Phrae  functioned as a hub of the towns.  (เมืองที่ใหญ่กว่าจะอยู่ฝั่งแม่น้ำยม และ แต่ละเมืองก็จะมีเส้นทางคมนาคมทางน้ำที่เชื่อมกับเมืองแพร่  ที่ทำหน้าที่เป็นศูนย์กลาง)

What we learn from the survey? (สิ่งที่เรียนรู้จากการสำรวจครั้งนี้)

• Many communities has been developed closely related with river. It is assumed that this environment has influenced on people’s lifestyle and belief. (หลายเมืองพัฒนาขึ้นอย่างมีความสัมพันธ์กับแม่น้ำ  ทำให้น่าคิดว่าสิ่งแวดล้อมเป็นตัวกำหนดวิถีชีวิตและความเชื่อ)

→ It is important to consider that modern development/rapid  change of society is really beneficial for us? (เรื่องสำคัญที่ควรพิจารณาคือ การพัฒนาสมัยใหม่ที่เปลี่ยนแปลงสังคมอย่างรวดเร็วนั้น  ให้ประโยชน์กับพวกเราจริงหรือ?

                  

§  Some ancient settlements are now abandoned and turn into agricultural field because the land did not suit for inhabit or other reason.  (เมืองเก่าหลายแห่งถูกทำลาย และกลายเป็นแหล่งเพาะปลูกทำมาหากินนั้น   เป็นเพราะไม่เหมาะกับยุคสมัย หรือ ด้วยเหตุผลอื่น?)

→Whatever reasons behind, its decision gives an huge impact  on future society.   (ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเหตุผลใด  คำตอบก็จะเป็นผลกระทบใหญ่ในอนาคตของสังคม)

§  The emergence of connection among old memories and people through the survey. (มีเรื่องราวเล่าขานในทุกแหล่งที่สำรวจนี้)

Future plan (Temporary)  (แผนการในอนาคต ที่คิดอย่างเร็วๆ)

• Organize an intensive field walk to find out detailed information and site boundary in March.  (การจัดกิจกรรมลงพื้นที่เพื่อสำรวจอย่างละเอียดมากขึ้น  สำรวจขอบเมืองเก่าอย่างละเอียด  ในเดือนมีนาคม)
• Organize an Archaeology/Culture fair in the survey area.  (จัดกิจกรรมทางโบราณคดี / วัฒนธรรม ในพื้นที่ ๆ ที่สำรวจ)

               Encourage the participation of the residents.  (เพื่อระดมการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชน)
